Mobile Monday Colorado
Mobile Monday is a global community started in Finland almost a decade ago and has over 60 chapters worldwide. The organization works with local and global mobile industry visionaries, and developers fostering cooperation and cross-company business development through virtual and live networking events sharing ideas, best practices and trends from global markets. All Mobile Monday Chapters encourage innovation within the mobile sector and help local companies participate in initiatives through the import and export of visions, concepts, technologies, know-how and best practices. By continuing to present innovative visions, trends, studies and forecasts from the mobile marketplace we facilitate and create partnerships, while contributing to the education of the broader public through publications and an online presence. The Colorado Chapter executes on these objectives, by delivering a balanced approach of business and technical content. We look to the local business community for some of this content, but also beyond the borders in order to make sure Colorado knows what is happening outside our borders that can help their business. We also look to the community to step up and tell us what we can do to help your business. Submit a business problem that the community can help solve, or ideas on content you would benefit from at the meetings. We look forward to seeing you there! And Smile. It's Monday! Colorado Explorers
This outdoor group is geared towards the intermediate hiker/backcountry skier/snowshoer. Meaning, those people that hike on a regular basis and get regular aerobic activity. We try to maintain a nice pace, but still want to stop to enjoy the scenery, take a photo and just catch our breaths every now and then. We are not trying to race to the top, or get there by a certain time. There are other meetup groups for beginner or occassional hikers and there are groups that are far more aggressive in their climbs or distance. Typical hikes are 7 - 15 miles in length and around 1100 - 3500 feet in elevation gain at an intermediate pace. Snowshoeing trips are 4 - 10 miles, 600 - 2000 feet of elevation gain - avalanche conditions being the limiting factor.

Boulder Wine Meetup
Boulder Wine Meetup is a group of Boulder County wine enthusiasts who meet to taste and drink wine. No experience is necessary and we are all about having fun. If you sign up for a wine tasting, please show up! No-shows make it hard for organizers. If you would like to host an event, just let us know and we'll help you select a date, determine the type of tasting, and decide on other details. It's easy to host a party where your guests sign up on their own and bring their own wine. Please note this group is composed of and run by volunteers. No one pre-screens hosts or checks to make sure hosts are doing things properly. No one pre-screens group members who might attend parties. No one checks to make sure you don't drink too much when you attend a tasting. You take full responsibility for yourself if you participate in this group. The group is great fun and an excellent way to meet fellow wine fans!

Boulder Writers' Workshop
Thanks for your interest in the Boulder Writers' Workshop. I founded this business in 2008 as part of my private coaching and teaching practice and am gratified that we have grown to nearly 700 writers and publishing professionals in Boulder and throughout the Front Range. In my work in the industry for two decades, I have observed that successful writers have a number of characteristics in common. These include a commitment to network with other professionals, a drive to seek ongoing education and the determination to continually work toward the next level. The BWW is different from most other meetup groups in that we serve the serious writer by offering high-quality, structured networking and learning opportunities. Every month, we offer an educational workshop taught by myself or a qualified professional. The BWW workshops are held Boulder at the Woody Creek Bakery or are sponsored by the Boulder Book Store. The North Metro Area Writers Chapter workshops are sponsored by the Barnes & Noble in Westminster. I offer a monthly literary salon that gives members a chance to connect and talk about writing and publishing. I am also launching the Flatirons Literary Review, another of my business projects, which will give BWW members and my coaching clients a way to build their professional platform by being involved in a publishing venture, through contributing articles, being a reader, editing a department or helping with administrative tasks. I have some other great offerings in the works--including a by-audition-only critique group and a paid membership level for professional writers. I have been coaching for ten years, but writing professionally for twenty. I have worked as a magazine editor and have authored a travel book and a collection of short stories. I have written more than a thousand articles and essays. My work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, The New York Times, Arizona Highways, America West Airlines Magazine, Working Woman, PHOENIX Magazine, Black Enterprise, Incentive and elsewhere. A story from my short story collection was a Top-25 Finalist in the 2010 December Glimmer Train Fiction Open and my nonfiction awards include a first place in business writing from Arizona Press Women.I have taught at Arizona State University's journalism school, in Phoenix College's creative writing program and at the Virginia C. Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University. I am also the founder and director of the Associated Writing Coaches. I live in Boulder with my husband and son. We are a homeschooling family. You can learn more about me at www.lorideboer.com and you can book as session with me at www.bookeo.com/lorideboer/customer. I am open to partnering with other writing coaches and teachers on workshops, conferences and retreats and request that you approach me directly instead of posting to the group. We try to keep e-mails down to a minimum, so anyone soliciting the group will be removed. If you want to join up with us, we require that you fill out your profile and load an actual photo of yourself. We also run a private group on Facebook, which is another great way to connect and be updated on opportunities Happy writing! Lori DeBoer

Boulder Mountain Bikers
This group is for any recreational mountain biker that wants to meet up with people for trail rides around Boulder. There are rides for all skill levels: beginner, intermediate, and maybe even a few advanced. The rides are meant to be fun for all, so those intimidated by more advanced riders, fear not. These are ego-free rides. If you need to get off your bike and walk it up a steep or tricky section, it's OK! We'll try to keep a pace that works for the whole group. Here are some of the trails we frequently ride around Boulder, and a rough guideline regarding their level of difficulty: Betasso - Beginner (easy) Marshal Mesa - Beginner (easy) Dowdy Draw - Beginner/Intermediate (medium) Heil Ranch - Intermediate (hard) Walker Ranch - Intermediate (hard) (you can google these trails for more descriptions of their length and difficulty) Ride details will be posted so you can judge for yourself what fits your skill level. Please arrive a few minutes before the posted time of the ride. If it says the ride is at 6pm, then that's when we start peddling. Looking forward to seeing you on the trail!

Free Yoga!!
This group was started in the early summer of 2010. Yoga can be an expensive venture, and I firmly believe that there should be some possibilities to explore and enjoy this ancient practice without the financial strain. My vision was to create a place where people could come and share the experience, integrate yoga in to their lives, learn something new, and have some fun. The classes (2-3 per week, on average) really are Free. There are opportunities to donate to the group or to local charities, but this is NEVER a requirement. There are occasional times when Paid Classes are offered, when there is something fun and exciting going on, but again, it is always the members choice. I believe in the power of community, and that when people come together to benefit the greater good, beautiful things will happen. I believe in the power of Yoga to heal, strengthen, and nourish the body and the mind. I believe in a lighthearted and open approach to the experience this group has and will offer to all of the yogis and yoginis who join. Since it began, Free Yoga has expanded exponentially. There are now 5 (and counting) beautiful individuals who teach the classes for free (all are Certified Yoga Instructors, FYI). There are over 100 members who participate and contribute in so many ways. We are constantly in search of new venues and opportunities to make the Free Yoga group better every day. We have some really exciting possibilities coming in the future and welcome anyone with a love, curiosity, and openness to what this group can bring into their lives. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!! New Policy on No-Shows: If you sign up for a class, you are expected to show up. It is incredibly rude and inconvenient to the teachers who are offering these classes for free. Regular yoga classes in Ft Collins generally cost $10-15 per class and you are being offered this for free. Please respect the offering by attending when you say you will. So. If you sign up for a class and do not attend three times, you will be removed from the group. I don't want to have to keep track of this, and it makes more work for me, but since it is a continuing issue, this is how it has to be. Please remember to sign in before class, as this is how I will be tracking no-shows. It sounds ugly, but has to be done. I welcome any feedback on this! Disclaimer: By attending events sponsored by this group, you are agreeing to the following: I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. I will continue to breathe smoothly. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter may have against Be Here Now Massage. Yoga. Bodywork., its owners, employees, and its agents, as well as Free Yoga on Meetup.com, or any of it's affiliations.

Colorado Adventure Club
An adventure is defined as an exciting or unusual experience; it may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome. We are an enthusiastic, engaged, and passionate group of people who truly want to live life. Our group is very active, with a wide variety of events taking place each month. The purpose of this group is to: 1. Connect and make friends and build community. 2. Deepen your self-awareness and explore life's endless possibilities. 3. Expand your knowledge and push the envelope. 4. Challenge yourself to make time for fun, personal growth, and friendships. This group is for you if you: 1. Aren't afraid to take a bite out of life. 2. Desire to step outside the box. 3. Dare to lead a fulfilling life and are looking for a community to share in doing that with. All events are designed to enhance your mental and physical well-being and create that sense of Adventure and camaraderie. Examples of events include: 1. Biking - Kokopelli Trail (5 days from Fruita to Moab) 2. Hiking - Bagging multiple 14ers in a day 3. Adventure Racing - Entering a team in 12 hour to 5 day races 4. Culturally - Checking out a new art exhibit 5- Culinary - Pot luck dinners or trying out a new restaurant. 6- Road Trips - Weekend get aways 7- International Travel - Surf & Yoga camp in Costa Rica We all have our own sense of Adventure so our events will be as diverse and exciting as our members. "Sometimes it's more about the Journey then it is the destination" The virtue lies in the struggle, not in the prize. (Richard Monckton Milnes) When you hear the word adventure, everyone will have different ideas and images on just what that is, because, what some of you might think is adventurous might not be so adventurous to the person next to you. And you don't have to be an Adrenaline Junkie or Thrill Seeker to enjoy adventures either. Here are some definitions that you might find in a dictionary under the word Adventure: An exciting experience; A bold undertaking involving uncertainty and Risk; A challenging journey; It's Discovery; It's an excursion; It's an expedition; It's Exploration; It's a voyage; It's a crossing; It's traversing; It's Traveling; It's something out of the ordinary; It's something dangerous; It's something intense; It's Inspirational; It's Peak Experiences; It's a Competition; It's something surprising and unexpected; It's a change in your life or direction; It's something that's new or different that isn't an everyday occurrence. It's tremendous exhilaration. "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." - Helen Keller

Barefoot Running Club
www.runBARE.com, the barefoot running school is title sponsor of the Barefoot Running Club, based in Boulder, CO. The Barefoot Running Club offers free introductory courses and fun group runs for people curious about getting into barefoot running. More advanced instruction can be found at www.runBARE.com Michael Sandler, former speed skater and professional level cyclist, suffered multiple injuries over the course of a lifetime, the last of which occurred just over 3 years ago. Weeks before a planned inline skating world record attempt across the country (LA to NYC) to raise awareness about ADD/ADHD, Michael experienced a life altering accident. While inline skating down Boulder Creek Trail, a father teaching his toddler how to walk stepped in front of Michael's path. To avoid a collision, Michael threw himself backwards, landing in mid-rotation on concrete. The result - a broken arm, broken hip, shattered femur and spike which had to be drilled through his knee. Doctors told him the usual story - he may not be able to keep his leg... he may not be able to walk again... he most definitely would never be able to run again. Fortunately, Michael doesn't believe in limitations. He'll be the first to tell you he doesn't believe in the word, "Can't". Slowly but surely, through a combination of determination, meditation, trust in the universe and the power of nature, Michael became a walking miracle. Only a week out of his living room hospital-bed, he set the record for finishing the Bolder Boulder on crutches (and a broken arm). Two weeks later, Michael finished the Denver Half Marathon on crutches (second to last) and became the only person to ever complete the half marathon on crutches. When he finally got off his crutches, Michael gradually worked himself into barefoot running. He was still being told he couldn’t run anymore, and with a ‘leg length discrepancy’ of over 10 millimeters, struggled to find balance and overcome nagging pain. Known as ‘Mr. Plantar Fasciitis’ from before the accident, when he needed custom orthotics just to walk across the living room floor, going barefoot was a major leap of faith. The first day, he ran 100 yards. Then he iced his feet for 2 days. The second time, he ran 200 yards. Then iced for another 2 days. And so it went. Today, Michael can be seen barefoot running up Flagstaff Mountain passing road cyclists. He's capable of running 50+ miles barefoot and is currently averaging 80-100 miles barefoot running a week. To Michael, barefoot running is not running at all. He says, "I don't run anymore. I dance." The benefits are multifold. Barefoot running activates many more small muscle groups than running with shoes. It allows us to run as our hunter-gatherer ancestors did - the natural way our body was intended to run. It heals old sports injuries and by promoting a more natural form, giving us greater feedback with the ground, and by keeping us lower to the ground, prevents new injuries. Barefoot running naturally promotes better, more efficient running posture and allows runners to surpass any speed they were ever able to attain with shoes. While the body heals, strengthens and economizes, the spirit heals and awakens. There's something to be said about feeling the earth beneath one's feet - feeling connected and grounded with nature. Suddenly, you're thinking more clearly and you're on top of the world. Michael and I want to share the beauty of barefoot running and its healing power with the world... starting with one bare foot at a time. Come out and join us. We'd love to see you in whatever shape, size or form. ---All Levels Welcome, Runners and Non-Runners Alike---

Fort Collins Digital Gunslingers and Ethical Entrepreneurs
Digital Gunslingers and Ethical Entrepreneurs bring common sense back to the web and in business by promoting and practicing the virtues of honesty, transparency, authenticity, credibility, accountability, integrity, and humility. We believe that social media is not a silver bullet - it's not for everyone or perfect for every situation. We believe that business should support the community, the employees, and the customers as their primary assets. You have to start with the right mentality and a plan. That's where we come in. The purpose of the Digital Gunslinger MeetUp group is to provide simple and free or low-cost Social Media education and training, promote Social Media events, and highlight the best of the online community. We also teach on the principles of Entrepreneurship - financial, project management, and other worthwhile and useful skill sets to have in business. Most classes are $1, the money goes to pay for the cost of the MeetUp Group ($72/6mos). Once that cost is met, we donate the rest to charity. The charity is chosen by the group once we reach $50. If you're unemployed, the classes are free. We meet weekly for fun and for knowledge - discussions are welcome, dissent is encouraged.

Boulder - A Creative Project & A Sip
There's nothing quite as wonderful as a group of people creating together and establishing friendships over a sip...whether it's Guinness, tea or wine. This group is an opportunity to meet like-minded, creative folks who live in or near the Boulder area. I have found that having a group that meets regularly can assist in the completion of projects that have been languishing in the closet. Anyone with a creative talent is encouraged to join. Knitters, writers, jewelery makers, art journalers, artists, programmers, papercrafters, needlecrafting - anyone with a "hobby" that you find is being placed on the back burner while life happens. You'll find encouragement with us and you might even find some inspiration to help you move forward with another project. All members are encouraged to post suggestions for meetups. Do you have a creative talent that you'd like to share with the rest of us? Do you have an art museum, store or other venue you'd like to check out? Post a meetup so we can all benefit from the inspiration! Your craft will need to be somewhat portable as we'll mostly be meeting in pubs, tea houses, coffee shops, wine bars and the like.

Foodies of Fort Collins
This is a group for Foodies of all kinds. For those who enjoy dining out, dining in, coffee, wine, recipes and foods of all kinds. For those who may not be familiar with the definition of a foodie, here are a few: 1. A person who has an ardent or refined interest in food; a gourmet. 2. (Cookery) a person having an enthusiastic interest in the preparation and consumption of good food. 3. A person devoted to refined sensuous enjoyment (especially good food and drink). While I would expect to have some members who just enjoy dining out with others, the aforementioned "Foodie" is the ideal member and a true source for the ultimate purpose for our gatherings. Rather than dining out all the time, I envision getting to know people and having, or being invited to, hosted dinner parties. We can all save a bit of dining cash and have a lot of fun in the process. As for me, I have gotten my inspiration to start this group from a number of different sources. Personally, I enjoy the foods of "The Mediterranean Diet", (www.mediterraneandiet.gr) and I like the principles of healthy eating outlined by the "Oldways Preservation Trust", (www.oldwayspt.org). I think it would be great to share these interests with other people as well as just meet for dinner once in a while. Obviously I enjoy cooking. One of the things I bring to the table, so I have been told, is an awesome Chicago style deep dish pizza as well as delicious and healthy Greek food. I look forward to your involvement. Please have a close look at our "Pages" for an outline of different levels of group involvement. Please contact me if you have any questions or concern regarding the information on this page.

Friendly Intellectual Social Club of 20s & 30s
This social group is for those who would like to meet people of calm and quiet personality who enjoy discussing intellectual topics in a collected manner. Smart and intuitive chicks and dudes with an open minded sense of humor of any nationality and in their 20s and 30s, or thereabout, are highly encouraged to join. The word 'social' often conjures others words like extroverted, loud, busy, popular for which there are many meetup groups already filling this role. As such, this group aims to attract the other side of the spectrum in personalities that, quite honestly, don't really have many outlets to socialize. Introverted, bookworm, self-concious, shy, smart, witty, independent, and intelligent are not ugly words around here. We like those people so please attend. :) Feel free to talk about all topics, ideas, concepts and theories in areas such as, but not limited to, science, philosophy, technology, psychology, law, medicine and current events, but keep in mind that it is a social group and some events may be void of intellectual discussion unless you bring it up. Furthermore, this group is not for overly sensitive people who over-analyze wording such as our use of the word 'chicks' while ignoring the intent and context of such light-hearted descriptions or discussions. Jokes remain as such if that's how they are intended regardless if there's some truth to them. It's the little bit of truth that makes them humorous but there's no need to be ugly either, so keep that in mind. Also, if there's 10 members at a meetup and you talk 90% of the time, you aren't calm or quiet nor giving other members the opportunity to discuss their opinions on the matter. That said, sometimes it's appropriate to dominate a conversation (depending on the event) and we're not tyrants nor collecting data for future retaliation... We're just saying that the quiet ones are 'people' too ;). A healthy sense of humor and open mindedness is required. Regardless of what popular culture thinks is 'polite', we won't censor discussions as long as they are discussed in a fair manner. Small and flexible events are prefered. We prefer smaller gatherings because large events don't attract calm and quiet conversations or environments. It's the small gatherings that let us get beyond the 'What do you do?' conversation starters as our members prefer deeper discussions. Um, am I right? So, if you enjoy conversations with calm and quiet personalities in their 20s and 30s feel free to drop by one of our events or host one of your own. We also encourage members to host their own events to mix things up a bit. Event hosts can host as per their judgement as long as it's reasonably within the description of the group set forth here. Feel free to suggest event ideas and we'll make you an assistant. If you have any questions or comments regarding a particular event, please email the event host on that listing. If you have general questions about the group, feel free to email the organizer directly. For future reference, the following link brings you to Brainy Characters instantly. Coffee and Connections, Professional Networking for Women
Network with other professional women in a relaxed setting to discuss current events, share experiences and build business relationships. Learn valuable tips, such as Public Speaking, Branding, Social Media, and Networking. This is a wonderful, supportive group.....as Rose says, it's like our moms used to sit around the table and drink coffee....plus a small business orientation. The only "format" is to give a 30-second "commercial" or introduction (and some of our members ask for feedback to "tweak" their intro), plus some time to talk about our wants and needs. Lots of time for informal socialization....and no attendance "requirements"..... Gale Toko

Digital photographers are welcome, as are shooters of view cameras, film, lomo, medium format, digital back, pinhole, etc. This group is not intended for beginners. While this group is intended as a learning tool, we won't be going over the basics of photography, or the basics of using cameras and equipment. Discussion of fine art, trends, commercial work, stock shooting, photo journalism, business strategies, exhibition and gallery experiences, techniques, and equipment are all fair game. Critiques, group shoots, workshops / seminars, and portfolio reviews are always in the works, so keep coming back for more!

-=Colorado CHRONIX Medicinal Cannabis Community=-
It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds. ~Samuel Adams Welcome to Colorado CHRONIX Medicinal Cannabis Community, one of the most in-depth, patient support, activism and medical marijuana reform websites, and Medical Marijuana Cooperative Collectives serving Colorado since 2007 (establishing the Colorado CHRONIX website online in early 2008). RECENT STUDIES - AUGUST, 2011 (BELOW) The picture of a patient which I recently took on 08/02/2011, illustrates the typical initial onset of a 'pilonidal cyst' on a patient. Painful cysts such as these are common in patients who are bed-bound & forced to lie in any one position, for more than several hours at a time, or as the result of a chronically ingrown hair in that region. This photo was taken immediately after the patient began having pain in that region and noticed the typical 'bump' which is generally located right at the base of the tailbone (coccyx). Five days shortly thereafter, on 08/07/2011 as you can see below, the cyst began to become extremely inflamed and most obviously, very painful for the patient: FOUR DAYS AFTER APPLYING HEMP OIL..: * NO DANGEROUS, SURGICALLY INVASIVE INTERVENTION WAS REQUIRED. * ...Cannabis' stunning anti-inflammatory efficacies, it would most certainly appear, are quite markedly obvious. But don't just trust me, or don't even trust your own eyes from seeing the above pictured data for that matter. Trust the government. (Ahem), yes, ours. It's actually no wonder, especially when you see the above example of results that patients are achieving themselves with Hemp Oil (which you must be a licensed MMJ patient or caregiver to legally use or dispense to your own patients and NOT to be confused with commercial over-the-counter Hempseed Oil), that our own US Government took out it's very own patent on cannabinoids (one of the naturally occurring substances in the cannabis plant), for their use as antioxidants in treating ischemic, age-related inflammatory autoimmune diseases and are have been discovered to have particular applications as neuroprotectants, in limiting the often devastating neurological damage following such ischemic insults as strokes, trauma, or to be used in the treatment of such horrendously devastating neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. (Click here to view the United States governments patent on marijuana's cannabinoids) It is very important for all responsibly involved mmj patients to carefully review the various groups who have all filed 2011 ballot initiatives recently, as it is their policies will ultimately be the ones that dictate the future of cannabis regulation in Colorado. RECENT 09/01/2011: Thanks to our relationship with our friends at the highly acclaimed MedicalSeedbank.com, all Colorado CHRONIX Members are eligible for our 20% medical discount coupon code to use on any genetics you choose from their vast array of phenomenal strains...! Interested patient members e-mail DOC for the most currently valid coupon code. There are plenty of educational opportunities inside, if you are so inclined, to observe as DOC uses three different forms of computerized digital microscopy to literally take you inside the plant, & elaborate never-before revealed growing methodology & techniques for legal patients...! All of which to help you to more fully understand the inner workings of this botanical miracle, as it continues to become legal in more & more states (nearly twenty now) due to its highly reported successful medicinal roles as a much, much safer analgesic alternative than narcotic prescription painkillers or even (and especially) Tylenol -It is estimated that acetaminophen (Tylenol) poisoning results in at least 56000 injuries, 25000 hospitalizations, and 450 deaths every year & the U.S. Acute Liver Failure Study Group found that acetaminophen poisoning is the leading cause of liver failure in the nation, accounting for approximately half of all cases. Some of these instances of liver failure occur even when following the dosage recommendations printed on the bottle...! Find out how DOC went from analog (regular) cigarettes to digital (electronic nicotine atomizers or more commonly - 'e-cigarettes') and quit smoking 2.5 packs daily, on the same day... Additionally, a 'digital', or e-cigarette uses no tobacco or flaming, burning products to inhale, just nicotine, flavoring and water vapor that both feels & tastes like the real thing - with no lingering odors or second-hand smoke (since there's no first-hand smoke to begin with) so the devices can be puffed on literally*anywhere*. It can also be freely utilized regularly in local restaurants, office buildings and shopping centers like Wal-Mart, etc. with virtually no problems, since cigarette laws do not pertain to them and reiterating, they emit no smoke, just harmless water vapor. It is far more affordable than the cancerous tobacco cigarettes, as well. Highly recommended for all those who enjoy vaping (whether it be high, medium , low, or even no nicotine) and the devices also work excellent for medicating with your favorite hash oil. We have been impressed with the great service we get from www.NicotineNirvana.com myself, so much so that we've listed them as a sponsor. Read more inside about our 'unofficial' case study of the effects of cannabis-extracted Hemp Oil on a patient with multiple cancers, brain and liver tumors (including a variety of different, more potent alternatives to Hemp Oil preparations & all other (some little known) forms of essential oil extractions)...! Also inside Colorado CHRONIX, learn which strains of cannabis work better for certain conditions. DOC recommends using & gives a shout of kudos out to www.Leafly.com for their interactive Periodical Table of Cannabis, where you can simply press which buttons that best correspond with your own unique medical symptoms, and Leafly.com's proprietary system will give you an immediate best recommendation by suggesting for the strain that matches you most, according to your inputted needs. You've really got to check it out for yourself. All legal patients in the state of Colorado should have access to a large variety of Medicinal Strains, Edibles, Rooted Clones, Seeds, Security, etc., simply ask and we can point you in the right direction...! Discover safer methods for patients who wish to learn the art of extracting Hemp Oil from cannabis (which is NOT available in stores & NOT to be confused with commercially produced Hempseed Oil, which while healthy and available for over-the-counter sale - is NOT the same by ANY means) for medicinal purposes and much, much more. The Obama Administration has publicly stated that our government will not continue to persecute/prosecute medical patients in states that have enacted their own voter-supported mmj laws, although they still refuse to deal with the issue on a Federal level and as such, ethically controversial raids on entities who provide patients with safer access to their medicine are currently still ensuing. It's time to end the needless suffering and expose the 'actual truths' about this herb that soothes so many's pain, yet gets so many others needlessly thrown into our already overcrowded prison system for. We sincerely thank the states who have their own voter-enacted medical marijuana laws. Overflowing gratitude to the compassionate states who allow it and urgent pleas go out on behalf of all those suffering and forced by whatever personal constraints they may have, to reside within the non-compassionate ones who currently do not. There is (currently) no, under any circumstances, exemption from criminal liability with regards to medical marijuana under Federal Law until such time as the federal government inevitably bows to the Will of The People and reschedules cannabis as the accepted medicine it already is, and has been used as, for thousands of years... How I Became a Cannabis Patient I worked assisting in the operating room as a surgical technician/first assistant for most of my adult life before one night after leaving the hospital, I stopped at a convenience store when suddenly I found myself being shot point-blank in the chest, an innocent victim of a violent crime. I first applied for Social Security Disability in 2004 and have been battling the corrupt system, which was more than happy to *take* my money for years, having just recently been denied for my third and final appeal - since I am a legal medicinal cannabis patient. The Crime Victim's Compensation Fund, yet another governmental entity operating under the guise of assisting people who truly need help -without discrimination - actually regularly discriminates with reckless abandon, as illustrated by their most recent letter to me, which included the following disturbingly biased statement: '... catastrophic funds are not available for ongoing medical care which includes, but is not limited to, doctor appointments, prescriptions to include narcotic and non-narcotic analgesics, medical marijuana, hospitalization, surgery, physical therapy, and the purchase and cultivation of marijuana plants.' Honestly, I'm curious as to what exactly it is that they *do* cover, for crime victims who have been completely incapacitated. The bullet is still lodged over my left lung and causes chronic burning & pain with deep, tortuous muscle spasms, along with various other symptoms rendered by the neuropathic damage I received as the victim of violent crime. However, it also does give me the unfortunate ability to relate & sympathize to a great degree with the numerous other seriously ill patients going through many of the same or similar circumstances in their own lives, and is the reason I originally set up Colorado CHRONIX. If not for the guidance of phenomenal people such as Keith Stroup, founder of NORML, and other influential leaders within this industry that I have been blessed to meet throughout my journey, it would not have been possible to help all of the people that I have been able to help, and to them I am forever grateful. Some of the kindest people you will ever meet, you will find working to further the cause of legally utilizing cannabis for it's numerously multifaceted applications. Currently, due to my worsening neuralgia and associated other complications secondary to having this bullet located in my chest, I have not been able to be nearly as active in the Movement as I was when first helping patients back in 2007, but do keep Colorado CHRONIX and the website, with all of its information up & going as much as I can, as well as beginning to bring on several new Assistant Organizers to help keep things interesting with the constantly changing new information that we, as Colorado patients and/or caregivers, are being constantly deluged with. It has always been my wish to assist both new & old patients alike as I have been so fortunate to have done, with their own explorations into the legal medicinal usage of cannabis, since without the usage of this naturally-occurring plants substances myself, I and countless others who legally find it to be an incomparable, peaceful solace in the throes of their illnesses would have literally no quality of life whatsoever. Please do not hesitate to send any inquiries to me at any time and I will do my best to continue to assist all mmj patients, in whatever capacity that I can. -DOC www.Colorado-CHRONIX.com ***This Community is entirely self-supported. Boulder Bookaholics Book Club
Meet kindred book lovers in the Boulder Bookaholics Book Club. A group for people who love books, who love to discuss books and who aren't adverse to having a glass of wine, cup of coffee or bite to eat whilst doing so! This book club has 3 strands (because we're all different!): - fiction (meets second Tuesday of every month) - non-fiction (meets third Tuesday of every month) - fantasy or sci-fi (meets fourth Tuesday of every month) We try to read books available in used bookstores and libraries, and where possible, that are available in eReader formats. We do not allow any marketing messages at any time - this is a "commercial-free zone". We're getting together to share a love of reading and ideas about the books that we've chosen, not to hear sales messages! (We hear enough already!) These meetups are fairly relaxed, so if you weren't able to finish the book or haven't had a chance to read it, you are still more than welcome to come to the meeting just to discuss books in general, laugh, share stories and make new friends! All members are encouraged to post their own books and run their own meetups in the interest of building a vibrant book reading and discussion community in Boulder and beyond!

Northern Colorado WebMagicMarketers
"Build it and they will come." Not! Despite the rumors you may have heard, you simply can not just put up a web site, and watch people rush to it to see what you have, or to buy what you are selling. Hmmm ... how, then, can you attract people to your site? The Northern Colorado WebMagicMarketers is a group for both "Basic" & "Advanced" level Internet Marketers. If you have a Product, Service, Organization or Cause that you'd like to promote using effective, legitimate, ethical Internet Marketing tools, techniques, strategies and resources, this is the place! This group meets weekly on Wednesdays: This group promotes social (with REAL people, not just with Twitter!) networking, and an exchange knowledge, experiences, successes, challenges and questions. Come ready to share what you have learned, and to learn from everyone else. My background is in psychology. Over the years, I have developed interests in computers, and marketing ("applied" psychology, don't you know!) For me, these interests, coupled with an Entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine sense of awe of the global communication and educational power of the internet, converge with Internet Marketing. I love Internet Marketing, and am happy to share what I have learned. AND, I'm even more interested in learning more about Internet Marketing from people who know more than I. If you have Internet Marketing knowledge, experience or a special interest, and are willing to share what you've learned in a teaching capacity, PLEASE let me know! http://www.PanicAttackTreatmentReviews.com

Welcome to Boulder Jazz Fans! The purpose of the group is to promote local jazz in the Boulder area. You can find out what jazz events are happening in the area, and arrange to meet new friends who love jazz -- either to go to various Boulder area jazz clubs with, or to find other jazz musicians you might want to play with. Northern Colorado Adventurers
"Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it" -- Andy Rooney Please join us for the next adventure - it could be hiking, snowshoeing, a full moon hike, rafting, a hut trip, or maybe an evening of indoor rock climbing. This group was primarily started to be a hiking and snowshoeing group for all abilities, but has expanded to include all the events just mentioned. This group is for hikers and adventurers of all abilities, from Beginner to Advanced. We will try our best to provide a wide variety of hikes to accommodate all abilities. Although a majority of our hikes are in Rocky Mountain National Park and in the Poudre Canyon where there are hundreds of trails, we do try and schedule several hikes up Colorado's 14'ers during the summer months. We welcome outdoor adventurers from all the surrounding areas including Loveland, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont, Cheyenne, and Denver. The Northern Colorado Adventurers activities may involve certain risks inherent with the activities that we do such as hiking, snowshoeing, rock climbing, rafting, canoeing and other adventures. You must post a clearly identifiable photo of yourself to be accepted as a member in order for us to know who you are since we almost always carpool. All membership is subject to verification over the phone or in person at one of the events. One of the intentions of this group is to have members that are active, keep the size of the meetup events at a reasonable number based on the number of organizers leading each event, and to develop friendships and camaraderie. In order to accomplish this and make it effective, all members are required to attend at least one event every 6 months. This helps the organizers keep familiar with the needs of the members and encourages everyone to be active. All members are encouraged to suggest events to the organizers in order to generate new ideas and continue to allow us to explore new adventures! Note: 10/16/2011; In August 2011 we opened up the membership of this group to new members. At the same time, we removed members who had not participated in any event in the last 6 months. The net effect of all this is that we are now back up to membership levels where we want to be, given the number of Organizers that we have and keeping the group size of our activities at a reasonable number. Membership to Northern Colorado Adventurers will re-open again in the Spring of 2012. Mark Howell, Organizer Northern Colorado Adventurers .

No Regrets Living! (formerly Women's Wisdom Circle)
I Empower Potential through Authenticity and Possibility! My mission is to Empower, Inspire & Validate ALL women to remember, believe & own their greatness! I was inspired to form this group by a mom of a potential participant for my teen workshops. Women today out almost everyone else before ourselves. We have forgotten that we come first in our lives and that if we don't we soon run out of anything to give to those we love. We teach others (including ourselves) how to treat us, and they are treating us badly - often by our own example! Spend this time once a month with an amazing group of your peers in a safe-space. We will share feely and openly the challenges that we are facing as women today. You will have the opportunity to be coached by a master facilitator to reach new heights of joy & fulfillment in your life!

No Co Single Parent Families
Single parents have one of the toughest jobs out there! It requires sacrifice, balance, patience, energy, compromise, forgiveness, and lots of time and money. So why take this journey alone? Come join us! We strive to plan activities that are budget-friendly and fun for all. Between Kids Eat Free nights at restaurants, Parents' Nights, all the fun festivals that our region has to offer, physical activities that wear the little ones out, potlucks and more, you are sure to find something to do! Our group is comprised of families of all shapes and sizes. We have separated, divorced, and never-married parents. Some are widowed, and some are single by choice. Some are experiencing the fresh wounds of a break-up, and some have been single for a long time. We have children anywhere from the toddler years to teens. Some bounce between houses with regularity, and some have only one parent. Some have special needs or have been adopted. And we are all geographically spread out. What we have in common is a deep love for our children and desire to give them the best life possible. Our kids find comfort in having friends in similar situations and going as a group to places that are often filled with "nuclear" families. Our parents enjoy having companions who understand how thin we are stretched and who give us room to gab, grieve, and grow. You can attend our meetups once a week or once every six months - whatever you are comfortable with. But take advantage of this valuable resource - your kids and your sanity will thank you :).

The Boulder Dreamweavers
We are a group of people who have a vision, either for our personal lives or for our collective reality (at least one...often it's quite a few visions!). We are creating a support group to help launch that vision into reality. We support each other through exercises in clarifying our vision, sharing ideas and resources, and experiencing the joy of collaboration. Many of us have invested in politicians, in causes we believe in, and in our families...this group gives us an opportunity to invest our time and energy into ourselves and our dreams and to expand our investing into our community and invest in each other. We are all co-creators of this group...sharing in the effort and joy of creating and sharing in the bounty of ideas and connections we create. Anyone who has a dream or a vision and who is interested in a supportive community to nurture that dream into reality should join this group.

Outer Limits
If you want to meet new and close friends, stay active, travel near and far, or simply just hang out doing your favorite activitity, then by all means, what are you waiting for? Join this group now! I started this group because it seems that it's been difficult to find others who enjoy getting out the house without a fight. I'm tired of listening to the same old song and dance. I'm too busy, tired, headache, I have to get up early, yada yada yada. We all have this however, c'mon. Every day? Really? I don't know about you but, I'm not dead yet. Most of my current friends want to wither away on the couch. Not me!!!! So – it's time to find other's that have the same interests. Young or old! I know you're out there. This is a brand new group looking for lively singles and couples who are full of life and enjoy many different types of activities. Our motto is to stay forever young while building lifetime friendships. Age is only an emotional state, therefore we do not have an era preference. Our group is diverse with many types of activities. A few of the activities include, but are not limited to the following: Camping, slumber parties, dancing, cruise ships, hiking, swimming, movies, happy Hour, skiing, amusement parks, boating, game nights, restaurants, bands, ghost hunting, indoor and outdoor sky diving, holiday parties, progressive dinners, murder mystery dinners, zipper lines, hot springs, boardwalks, and PARTY PARTY PARTY! Our main focus is to form a group of friendly, not so serious individuals who have a desire to enjoy life, have fun, and let their hair down in this crazy busy world. Anything goes! We will not discriminate against gender, age, race, character or being unusual. All members will be welcomed with kindness and respect. I am looking forward to having great fun and meeting new people! If you are interested in joining, we have availability for organizers and hosts. We are open to ideas and discussions. Everybody's input is appreciated and received. Please send an email with any of the above interests.

While there are some great groups in town that discuss a bunch of cool languages, there wasn't one that focused specifically on the language that you and I both love, JavaScript. Until now. These are fascinating times for JavaScript development, and this group will attempt to explore topics including, but by no means limited to: * the power of raw JavaScript; * Ajax; * libraries like jQuery and Prototype; * techniques for building your own library; * server-side JavaScript with Node.js; * optimization techniques; * test-driven development; * and so much more! We're a friendly group and we welcome developers of all skill levels, beginner to expert. We want to foster an environment where it's okay to ask questions and it's okay not to know about certain aspects of the language. CO Connecting To Greatness - Inspired Business Networking
Welcome, I'm Shawna Gauger. I'm a lifelong entrepreneur and entrepreneurial energy is my absolute favorite kind. I created Connecting to Greatness because I wanted to promote a fun, productive, and rewarding networking experience for those driven to succeed! Connecting to Greatness is a different kind of networking group. Instead of simply throwing people into a room with no focus or no common goal, we strive to enlighten professionals on ways to network more effectively and build their business more authentically. We want our attendees walking away from our gatherings with insight on what to do with all the business cards they've collected and how to cultivate powerful alliances with those they meet. And we want to give our attendees the insights to grow the kind of business success they've always dreamed of. Events will be hosted every two to three weeks. Some events will be 'mix and mingle' with a structured activity as its focal point. Networking activities will include Wine and Dessert events, presentations given by inspiring leaders in the world of success building; and occasionally, we will also run our 'Speed Networking for Professionals' events. These highly structured gatherings can be VERY productive ways to make new connections. Yet another opportunity to connect will be through our Virtual Networking opportunities...networking convenience at its finest Come out and join us at our next Connecting to Greatness event. We attract a wonderful and inspiring group of Colorado area professionals. I look forward to meeting you! .

Northern Colorado Small Business Tune-Up
Winning success in small business means continually improving the basic building blocks any business must have to make it, basics such as defined business functions, measurable accountabilities for the people and various systems of management (you know, the kind of systems that have to operate between people’s ears before they can ever work on a computer). Once you put one of the building blocks in place, you have to change it, because conditions have changed. Join us as we band together to deal with the latest shell shocks and figure out a better way. Our mission is to improve individual's lives through health education, providing lasting and inexpensive solutions for disease reversal through self-care and healthy lifestyle support (taking into account that conventional medical evaluation may be needed). Among other things, we teach the 3LS (3-Legged Stool) Wellness Program, consisting of Skilled Relaxation, Perfectly Whole Foods Diet, and Right Exercise for you, to reverse chronic illness and create lasting wellness. It's easier to reverse chronic "untreatable" illnesses than many people think. It's also easier to achieve a state of dynamic health that is far beyond what many people understand as health. Our goal is to help you achieve YOUR health goals and enhance your life. We offer special events as we can. We greatly enjoyed our min-seminar series last summer and autumn, and our first Wellness Lunch on January 6. We'll be taking a break from holding meetups until the time is right to start them up again. Check back for new events and if you haven't joined us yet, we encourage you to do so to receive e-mails notifying you of events. At each meeting/mini-seminar, we'll have a table and bulletin board where holistic and alternative practitioners can display their business cards and flyers for networking. We also have a bulletin board with free and low-cost health resources in the community. We usually have a question and answer time, during which anyone in the audience (practitioner or individual) who has experience or training for that issue or problem can share their experience. If there are a lot of knowledgeable people present that night, you may receive a lot of ideas and options to work with! We'd love to have you join us to help create a community supportive of living a healthy lifestyle who have fun in the process!

The Path: Coaching, Nature, & Connection (Boulder)
Mindfulness practices to connect us deeply with the Earth, our community, and ourselves. In this meetup we explore many different aspects of mindfulness, meditation, and heightened perception, with a big dose of play and lightness. We've meditated with hawks, done wilderness solos, drummed to celebrate the solstice and full moon, created nature based art, expanded our awareness of the natural world, done nature based group coaching, and awakened in a magical meadow surrounded by peaks to do yoga to the sunrise. Join us to experience and co-create a community of mindful, inspired changemakers. We are the ones we have been waiting for! The Hopi Elders Speak The Elders Oraibi Arizona Hopi Nation "We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For" You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour. Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour. And there are things to be considered: Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? Where is your water? Know your garden. It is time to speak your Truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader. This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. See who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally. Least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt. The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Topics include Spiritual Philosophies and Teachings, Healing Modalities and Research Findings, as well as Spiritual, Psychic and Paranormal Phenomena, Reincarnation, Quantum Physics, Ancient Civilizations and more. Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. We go at about a pace of 12-14 mph on the flats, but stop frequently, so the overall pace with stops is about 8 mph over about a 3 hour ride.

Sit Down Shut Up and Write!!
Haven't finished that screenplay? Got a paper due Monday? That book idea still sitting on a shelf somewhere calling to you in your sleep? Then this is a group for you. The Sit Down, Shut Up, and Write Boulder Meetup is just what it sounds like -- A venue to start, continue or finish your written work. Think of it as a scene to write your scene, a medium for your medium, or just a chance to get your ink on. The Format: The "Sit Down" part: The first thirty minutes is reserved for introductions, purchasing food and drink, sharing ideas, trying out your latest yoga pose, or whatever else it takes to get you into the zone. The "Shut and Write" part: We start PROMPTLY after the first thirty minutes and write for one hour. After the hour has concluded you can continue writing, leave, talk or do whatever makes you happy. Please don't disturb or talk to those who are still bent over their laptops working. Likewise, please don't give others the stink-eye if they are talking amongst themselves. The Rules: RSVP "Yes" if you are coming. If your plans change, change your RSVP to "No." "Yes" doesn't mean "Maybe." If you are unsure, please wait until you are sure before you RSVP "Yes." Chronic no-show writers will be removed from the group. "No-show" means 1) you RSVP "Yes" and don't show up or 2) you change your RSVP to "No" less than one hour before start time. For example, if the Meetup is from 6:30 to 8:00, you must change your RSVP to "No" before 5:30 or you will be marked as a no-show. Three strikes in a six-month period and you will be dropped from the group. If you are late, and we have already begun writing, just sit down, shut up, and start! There is no need to apologize or explain. Your attendance will be noted after the writing hour has concluded. We won't go so far as to gag you and chain you to your laptop, but during the writing hour, we ban non-writing conversation and minimize even writing-related exchanged. Reading and surfing the web is also a no-no unless it's just for quick reference checks. Any lengthy researching should come AFTER the hour is up. This is NOT critique group. If you want to swap manuscripts with someone and garner some feedback, great! But please make those arrangements BEFORE or AFTER the writing hour. Remember, this may be the only hour you (and everyone else) get to write all week. Please do not bring children or pets. Best to leave Junior and Fido at home so everyone can work relatively distraction-free The Fees: There is no fee to attend. That's right! Zero dollars and zero cents, my friends. I, as organizer, will be covering all administrative costs for our Meetups. But you must make a minimum food or drink purchase at venues that require it. So that's it. No more excuses. No more procrastination. Fire up your laptops and sharpen your pencils. Then join us to sit down, shut up, and write!

Fort Collins Integrating Mind Body Spirit Group
Feel the deep peace you’ve been longing for your entire life by experiencing a group Soul Tuning. You’ll also learn two techniques for improving your energy, quieting your mind, bringing you back to center, and connecting your mind, body, and spirit. My name is Ken Stone. In the past, I was a Type-A driven personality mortgage lender focused exclusively on the material world. Following an in-residence meditation retreat I was made aware that I have been given a gift much larger than myself. I didn’t ask for it, didn’t intend it. It just happened, or maybe it was always there and I ‘awoke’ to its presence. Since that moment I’ve been going through a process of waking up, my attention moving more and more to the spiritual world. It turns out I have been blessed with quite a wonderful gift. I connect to the frequency of the Divine and tune the people I’m fortunate to work with to that frequency. The tuning takes three basic steps: First – the soul is tuned. Second, the energy body - including the chakras. Last, the physical body is tuned. When all three are completely in tune, amazing things can start to happen – many times spontaneously – sometimes including the body healing itself in ways that defy logic or rational understanding. Most importantly, the feeling of connectedness returns. And as a result, we return to our native state, in complete sync with the Divine, in a state of complete peace. I work with clients in individual session in person – and via remote connection, as well as with groups. I’ve started a group healing experience in Fort Collins, and I'm also exploring a tele-group for people who can't make the Fort Collins group. You can sign up for these groups right here at this meetup page. I’d love to hear from you if you have questions, just want to connect, or if you’d like to schedule time with me. Sensory Awakening - A Ceremony of the Heart
SEE 2009/2010 CALENDAR BELOW Sensory Awakening - A Ceremony of the Heart Ordinarily, we take our five senses for granted. As a result we feel very little; everything that comes to us through our senses seems muted and weak. That's why awakening our senses through this ritual can be so magical. The experience of really tasting, smelling, seeing, feeling, and hearing comes as a wonderful surprise. Tantricas have practiced this ancient ritual for thousands of years, awakening the five senses will reveal the depth of love that is possible only through sensuality. This practice opens new pathways to loving, to joy, and to expression and is so much fun you'll want to practice at home over and over again. One Woman's Experience: My experience at the last Sensory Awakening Ceremony was wonderful. I was matched with someone new. However this time, I felt safe and relaxed; open in my entire being. It was just so amazing that feeling this safe is actually possible. I'm so excited to explore more." ~Janet One Man's Experience:"Last night was a revelation. I see what is possible within my relationships and interactions. I want more. One truly remarkable thing that I experienced was when I got home and went to sleep. I woke up at 3:17 AM and I was literally vibrating. I can't say that I woke up, but I was absolutely conscious. It's difficult to describe, I almost can't find the words. Thanks for all you do."~Hector " I felt softer, joyful" Brian " The ceremony was beautifully choreographed. I could hardly believe my luck in finding it". Rebecca " What a treat, and revelation." Susan K. Sensory Awakening is one practice you'll treasure and want to master. It's easy and joyful. Limited to 30 participants. Couples often (but not always) head home moving with the energy they've created toward unknown splendors. Singles often (but not always) extend their evening at a local wine bar or other nearby gathering place. We have a full map and listing of these places on hand for you. Spectacular gourmet snacks created for the season, sparkling water from all over the globe, organic wines and nectars will be served. Eat lightly before arrival so your senses will be open. Safe, serene, joyful. Gender balanced No nudity or explicit sexual activity This is not for those who prefer the status quo. Lunchtime with Lawyers CO - Entrepreneur/Attorney Networking
As an entrepreneur, you know that the answers to certain legal questions can make or break your business. Do you know the best way to split the company's equity? What are the tax implications for the different types of business structures, and what exactly is the significance of an 83(b) election? Is your intellectual property adequately protected? Should you hire independent contractors or employees? Everyone will tell you that a good business attorney will provide vital assistance in almost every aspect of your business. However, not everyone will tell you lawyers need you just as much. Lawyers who focus on startup issues need to be around entrepreneurs to keep their fingers on the pulse of the startup community. They need to learn from entrepreneurs modern methods of operating a business, and technologies that may influence the practice of law for years to come. And yes, lawyers need clients too. That's why we created Lunchtime with Lawyers, a networking event unlike any other for both the attorney and the entrepreneur. A new concept, we envision this to begin as an informal lunchtime networking session with an opportunity for entrepreneurs to ask practicing attorneys and other professionals questions about legal issues. In the future, depending on demand, we can offer such unique activities as business plan hot-seats or roundtable discussions. Please join us to show us your support for this idea. Lunchtime for Lawyers: where like-minded lawyers and entrepreneurs meet.

Fort Collins Flatwater Frogs
Leave your cares on shore and enjoy the beauty of nature and the calming affect of floating on water. This is a kayaking and canoeing group for women of Northern Colorado who are looking for others to go with on flatwater and calm river excursions. The Fort Collins Flatwater Frogs is geared to the beginning and intermediate paddlers. It is for women who want to enjoy things like, spontaneous swims from the banks, sharing of chocolate, or Noosa yogurt at lunchtime, silently floating in the trees amidst the songs of various birds, and sharing the joy of seeing new places with other sisters of the flat seas...Colorado lakes, reservoirs and calm rivers. This group includes paddles from 2 hours to several hours long. Paddles can be free of charge or up to $14, depending on the location. We try to mix up the locations and days so all can participate. Since we began in 2010, we have hosted nearly 60 paddles and planned several more non-paddling events. We hope that the Frogs serves as a place for individuals to meet others with whom they can paddle whenever they'd like, and as an educational resource for tips about the sport and equipment. It is best if members have their own boat and women are welcome to ask questions of members about equipment when they are considering purchasing their first kayak or canoe. The goals of this Meet up are to have fun, make new friends, and celebrate nature on the water. We are open to any ideas members have to make this the best and most unFROGettable group around. So come on gals, grab your boat, paddle, hat, life vest, sunscreen, camera, and hop on over to the Flatwater Frogs lily pad, where we will explore the lakes and reservoirs of the area and provide a lot of fond Frog memories that will leap to your mind when ya have to return to work or land.

We also have a large number of patients that are voicing interest in wanting access to more organic Medical Cannabis and are asking where to find organic growers that they can get medicine from on a regular basis. We hope to help link ORGANIC growers with these patients so they will have more access to healthy medicine.

Slow Sex in Boulder
Someone once said, how you show up in bed is the way you show up in your life. What if you could make small changes to your sex life and have the results affect your life as a whole? What is Slow Sex? Slow Sex is intimacy at the speed of connection, and is comprised of three basic ingredients: simplicity, attention and desire. With Slow Sex, you learn how to use these three guiding principles in all areas of your life, ultimately improving how you communicate, increasing your capacity for sensation, and changing how you show up in the world for the better. Slow Sex is about bringing mindfulness into every aspect of our daily lives; about living a life that's in alignment with what we really want, a life that's connected to our body. And it starts with your sexuality as the doorway to creating sustainable changes and thriving your life.

Northern Colorado Grape Therapy
I just moved back to Colorado after being gone/transferring across the country back and forth with work for 14 years. I was recently part of a Meet-Up group called the Grape Escape in another city that was for all people-mostly over 40. We had such a good time trying different places and tasting different wines with some guidance from a wine guru/restaurant owner/etc. Sometimes we would do dinner; sometimes just a tasting once or twice/month. The purpose of this group would be to get together; learn about different wines from around the World. There are alot of us either returning or moving to Colorado for the first time. People who should join: those that enjoy company with men and women over 40 (married or not) and trying/learning about wines. We can meet at different places between Loveland, Windsor, Ft. Collins, etc. Time suggested=5:30 or 6p until 8p or?

Northern Colorado (NOCO) Hoof Beats
Our goals are simple, we want to develop friendships, share ideas and stories, and provide riding pals for one another. We strive to create an environment where you can meet other local horse owners and riders, gather to talk about breeds and horse-related sports, or saddle up and take a trail ride! We are a casual group of horse lovers, and although most of our organized events are trail rides, sometimes we attend other horse-related activities together (for example, National Western Stock Show or Horse Expo) or have a coffee meeting when the weather is too bad to ride. We are not an officially organized riding group, which means we do not carry group insurance or take responsibility for anyone's safety. Since most of our events are trail rides, a pre-requisite for membership is horse ownership. If you are not currently a horse owner, this may not be the group for you. There are a variety of organizations in Northern Colorado that provide meetings and training opportunties for all horse lovers or those interested in learning more about horse ownership. Because this is an informal, "strictly for pleasure" group, we ask that those of you who provide professional services of any sort not use our group and it's contact list for soliciting business.

Boulder Aha!Local University Group
Aha!Local University is targeted at owners, operators, or marketers of businesses that want to reach local prospects: retail, trade services, professional services, and any others that rely on local traffic and revenue. These local prospects now use online channels to identify companies they want to do business with. Because online marketing is dynamically changing, the typical business owner can be overwhelmed and confused about which tools are the right ones for his or her business to reach local prospects. Over the course of the curriculum, the university will examine a broad range of online marketing tools and techniques for reaching local audiences. This will include: local listings, paid advertising, social networking, review sites, location- based services, coupons, and mobile marketing. The goal of the educational series is to help business owners identify the appropriate online marketing mix for their businesses, and arm them with enough knowledge to properly evaluate potential service providers or determine if they can do it themselves. At the end of each session, attendees will come away with a checklist of the most important things to do or consider for that topic.
