Hiking! I am looking for avid hikers who might be looking for other avid hikers to hike with, in the Ft Collins/Loveland/RMNP/Poudre Canyon/Lyons area. I like to keep moving and keep a moderately fast pace while still enjoying the scenery, stopping occasionally to take a picture. Mileage would be 5 - 10 - 20? Difficulty would depend on where you are at as a hiker. If you are a beginner, some of our hikes will seem difficult to you. Green Drinks Fort Collins was created in January 2007 as a way to bring together green-minded locals and provide a venue to socialize, and make connections with others in the community who care about sustainability.

This outdoor group is geared towards the intermediate hiker/backcountry skier/snowshoer. Meaning, those people that hike on a regular basis and get regular aerobic activity. We try to maintain a nice pace, but still want to stop to enjoy the scenery, take a photo and just catch our breaths every now and then. We are not trying to race to the top, or get there by a certain time.
There are other meetup groups for beginner or occassional hikers and there are groups that are far more aggressive in their climbs or distance. Typical hikes are 7 - 15 miles in length and around 1100 - 3500 feet in elevation gain at an intermediate pace.
Snowshoeing trips are 4 - 10 miles, 600 - 2000 feet of elevation gain - avalanche conditions being the limiting factor.
Boulder Wine Meetup is a group of Boulder County wine enthusiasts who meet to taste and drink wine. No experience is necessary and we are all about having fun.
If you sign up for a wine tasting, please show up! No-shows make it hard for organizers. If you would like to host an event, just let us know and we'll help you select a date, determine the type of tasting, and decide on other details. It's easy to host a party where your guests sign up on their own and bring their own wine.
Please note this group is composed of and run by volunteers. No one pre-screens hosts or checks to make sure hosts are doing things properly. No one pre-screens group members who might attend parties. No one checks to make sure you don't drink too much when you attend a tasting. You take full responsibility for yourself if you participate in this group.

Thanks for your interest in the Boulder Writers' Workshop. I founded this business in 2008 as part of my private coaching and teaching practice and am gratified that we have grown to nearly 700 writers and publishing professionals in Boulder and throughout the Front Range. In my work in the industry for two decades, I have observed that successful writers have a number of characteristics in common. These include a commitment to network with other professionals, a drive to seek ongoing education and the determination to continually work toward the next level.
The BWW is different from most other meetup groups in that we serve the serious writer by offering high-quality, structured networking and learning opportunities. Every month, we offer an educational workshop taught by myself or a qualified professional. The BWW workshops are held Boulder at the Woody Creek Bakery or are sponsored by the Boulder Book Store. The North Metro Area Writers Chapter workshops are sponsored by the Barnes & Noble in Westminster. I offer a monthly literary salon that gives members a chance to connect and talk about writing and publishing. I am also launching the Flatirons Literary Review, another of my business projects, which will give BWW members and my coaching clients a way to build their professional platform by being involved in a publishing venture, through contributing articles, being a reader, editing a department or helping with administrative tasks. I have some other great offerings in the works--including a by-audition-only critique group and a paid membership level for professional writers.
I have been coaching for ten years, but writing professionally for twenty. I have worked as a magazine editor and have authored a travel book and a collection of short stories. I have written more than a thousand articles and essays. My work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, The New York Times, Arizona Highways, America West Airlines Magazine, Working Woman, PHOENIX Magazine, Black Enterprise, Incentive and elsewhere. A story from my short story collection was a Top-25 Finalist in the 2010 December Glimmer Train Fiction Open and my nonfiction awards include a first place in business writing from Arizona Press Women.I have taught at Arizona State University's journalism school, in Phoenix College's creative writing program and at the Virginia C. This Meetup is for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) mobile app developers in the Boulder/Denver area to meet, show code, demo apps, learn new techniques, and have fun. We are for iOS developers by iOS developers. We meet on the last Tuesday of the month at the Rosetta Stone offices in downtown Boulder.
This group is for any recreational mountain biker that wants to meet up with people for trail rides around Boulder. There are rides for all skill levels: beginner, intermediate, and maybe even a few advanced. The rides are meant to be fun for all, so those intimidated by more advanced riders, fear not. These are ego-free rides. If you need to get off your bike and walk it up a steep or tricky section, it's OK! We'll try to keep a pace that works for the whole group.
Here are some of the trails we frequently ride around Boulder, and a rough guideline regarding their level of difficulty:

Dowdy Draw - Beginner/Intermediate (medium)

Small dogs Meetup with other local, small dogs & their people, including just about any tiny breed or mix and those from Boulder County and its visitors. Yes, vacationers/seasonal people and their small dogs are welcome to join.
This group was started in the early summer of 2010. Yoga can be an expensive venture, and I firmly believe that there should be some possibilities to explore and enjoy this ancient practice without the financial strain. My vision was to create a place where people could come and share the experience, integrate yoga in to their lives, learn something new, and have some fun.
The classes (2-3 per week, on average) really are Free. There are opportunities to donate to the group or to local charities, but this is NEVER a requirement. There are occasional times when Paid Classes are offered, when there is something fun and exciting going on, but again, it is always the members choice.
I believe in the power of community, and that when people come together to benefit the greater good, beautiful things will happen.
I believe in the power of Yoga to heal, strengthen, and nourish the body and the mind.
I believe in a lighthearted and open approach to the experience this group has and will offer to all of the yogis and yoginis who join.
Since it began, Free Yoga has expanded exponentially. There are now 5 (and counting) beautiful individuals who teach the classes for free (all are Certified Yoga Instructors, FYI). There are over 100 members who participate and contribute in so many ways. We are constantly in search of new venues and opportunities to make the Free Yoga group better every day. We have some really exciting possibilities coming in the future and welcome anyone with a love, curiosity, and openness to what this group can bring into their lives.

If you sign up for a class, you are expected to show up. It is incredibly rude and inconvenient to the teachers who are offering these classes for free. Regular yoga classes in Ft Collins generally cost $10-15 per class and you are being offered this for free. Please respect the offering by attending when you say you will. So.
If you sign up for a class and do not attend three times, you will be removed from the group. I don't want to have to keep track of this, and it makes more work for me, but since it is a continuing issue, this is how it has to be. Please remember to sign in before class, as this is how I will be tracking no-shows. It sounds ugly, but has to be done. I welcome any feedback on this!

We have a couple of weekly Mom's Coffee/Kid Playdates in Fort Collins and Loveland, Monthly Mom's Nights Out and alternating months we have a Saturday Family Playdate. My name is Lauren Bond Kovsky and I am a naturalist and wilderness based life coach based in Boulder, CO. As part of my offering, I do low cost and donation based outings for anyone interested in plants, animals, birds, wild edibles, geology, survival skills, and more! There will be a different theme for each outing.
We've watched baby owls grow up, eaten berries and other wild edibles, laughed a whole lot, taken some incredible photos, made plaster casts of tracks, watched eagles fly overhead, found fossils in the foothills, had an incredible blustery snowshoeing adventure, and more!
Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, fitness levels, and ages. We all enjoy stopping to smell the flowers, take photos, and eat berries.
Our outings are designed to be accessible to everyone. We take our time and stop on the trail regularly to explore our surroundings and look at the birds. We have a ton of fun, learn a lot, and we love meeting new people!

Michael Sandler, former speed skater and professional level cyclist, suffered multiple injuries over the course of a lifetime, the last of which occurred just over 3 years ago. Weeks before a planned inline skating world record attempt across the country (LA to NYC) to raise awareness about ADD/ADHD, Michael experienced a life altering accident. While inline skating down Boulder Creek Trail, a father teaching his toddler how to walk stepped in front of Michael's path. To avoid a collision, Michael threw himself backwards, landing in mid-rotation on concrete. The result - a broken arm, broken hip, shattered femur and spike which had to be drilled through his knee. Doctors told him the usual story - he may not be able to keep his leg... he may not be able to walk again... he most definitely would never be able to run again.
Fortunately, Michael doesn't believe in limitations. He'll be the first to tell you he doesn't believe in the word, "Can't". Slowly but surely, through a combination of determination, meditation, trust in the universe and the power of nature, Michael became a walking miracle.
Only a week out of his living room hospital-bed, he set the record for finishing the Bolder Boulder on crutches (and a broken arm). Two weeks later, Michael finished the Denver Half Marathon on crutches (second to last) and became the only person to ever complete the half marathon on crutches.
When he finally got off his crutches, Michael gradually worked himself into barefoot running. He was still being told he couldnt run anymore, and with a leg length discrepancy of over 10 millimeters, struggled to find balance and overcome nagging pain. Known as Mr. Plantar Fasciitis from before the accident, when he needed custom orthotics just to walk across the living room floor, going barefoot was a major leap of faith. The first day, he ran 100 yards. Then he iced his feet for 2 days. The second time, he ran 200 yards. Then iced for another 2 days. And so it went. Today, Michael can be seen barefoot running up Flagstaff Mountain passing road cyclists. He's capable of running 50+ miles barefoot and is currently averaging 80-100 miles barefoot running a week.
To Michael, barefoot running is not running at all. He says, "I don't run anymore. I dance." The benefits are multifold. Barefoot running activates many more small muscle groups than running with shoes. It allows us to run as our hunter-gatherer ancestors did - the natural way our body was intended to run. It heals old sports injuries and by promoting a more natural form, giving us greater feedback with the ground, and by keeping us lower to the ground, prevents new injuries. Barefoot running naturally promotes better, more efficient running posture and allows runners to surpass any speed they were ever able to attain with shoes. While the body heals, strengthens and economizes, the spirit heals and awakens. There's something to be said about feeling the earth beneath one's feet - feeling connected and grounded with nature. Suddenly, you're thinking more clearly and you're on top of the world.

This is a group for Foodies of all kinds. For those who enjoy dining out, dining in, coffee, wine, recipes and foods of all kinds. For those who may not be familiar with the definition of a foodie, here are a few:

While I would expect to have some members who just enjoy dining out with others, the aforementioned "Foodie" is the ideal member and a true source for the ultimate purpose for our gatherings. Rather than dining out all the time, I envision getting to know people and having, or being invited to, hosted dinner parties. We can all save a bit of dining cash and have a lot of fun in the process.
As for me, I have gotten my inspiration to start this group from a number of different sources. Personally, I enjoy the foods of "The Mediterranean Diet", (www.mediterraneandiet.gr) and I like the principles of healthy eating outlined by the "Oldways Preservation Trust", (www.oldwayspt.org). I think it would be great to share these interests with other people as well as just meet for dinner once in a while.
Obviously I enjoy cooking. One of the things I bring to the table, so I have been told, is an awesome Chicago style deep dish pizza as well as delicious and healthy Greek food.

This group was started to provide a cool event in the Boulder community that singles can go to meet other singles. All events will be unique and fun, mostly free, mostly kid friendly, and one hell-of-a-lot of fun! The goal is to create a rare opportunity towards finding your soul mate without there being any pressure to do so. This group will have no age or sexual orientation restrictions yet will be geared towards meeting other single people between the ages of 30 to 50, with or without kids. A group of trail runners that are as serious about their trail running as the breakfast that follows. We enjoy diversity in our trails, restaurants, and running cohorts. Many runs are in the Boulder area; however we also look to get into the high country as much as possible. Runs are typically on Saturday mornings. The duration varies from about 1 hour to 3+ depending on location, group fitness, schedules, etc. Terrain can range from easy flat to steep technical. Pace can vary widely however we never let anyone forget why they joined a group.
A chapter of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES), NCRES is a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for consumers and businesses in the area of cost effective energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies in Northern Colorado.

Also, if there's 10 members at a meetup and you talk 90% of the time, you aren't calm or quiet nor giving other members the opportunity to discuss their opinions on the matter. That said, sometimes it's appropriate to dominate a conversation (depending on the event) and we're not tyrants nor collecting data for future retaliation... We're just saying that the quiet ones are 'people' too ;). A healthy sense of humor and open mindedness is required. Regardless of what popular culture thinks is 'polite', we won't censor discussions as long as they are discussed in a fair manner. Small and flexible events are prefered. We prefer smaller gatherings because large events don't attract calm and quiet conversations or environments. It's the small gatherings that let us get beyond the 'What do you do?' conversation starters as our members prefer deeper discussions. Um, am I right?
So, if you enjoy conversations with calm and quiet personalities in their 20s and 30s feel free to drop by one of our events or host one of your own. We also encourage members to host their own events to mix things up a bit. Event hosts can host as per their judgement as long as it's reasonably within the description of the group set forth here. Mid-Life doesnt' mean that you are over the hill! On the contrary, it's just a new chapter in our lives and for many a new beginning...and we still know how to have fun! This group was created to bring Northern Colorado Singles over 40 who want to be social and create new friends. There will be non-alcohol and non-bar events for those who aren't into that whole scene, however there will also be alcohol and bar event's for the other's who do enjoy that scene as well. We will attend social activities and events such as cultural arts, dining out, international dinners, movie nights, potlucks, performing arts, dancing, music productions, historical tours, dancing lessons, mixers, concerts, live music, festivals, and much much more! We also will be doing activites outside of Northern Colorado such as Denver, Cheyenne and surrounding areas.
Mingles is a place where we can feel safe and comfortable in meeting other singles in the Northern Colorado area and create some lasting friendships as well. It's also a place of building community and bringing local and State businesses revenue with our events.

RECENT STUDIES - AUGUST, 2011
(BELOW) The picture of a patient which I recently took on 08/02/2011, illustrates the typical initial onset of a 'pilonidal cyst' on a patient. Painful cysts such as these are common in patients who are bed-bound & forced to lie in any one position, for more than several hours at a time, or as the result of a chronically ingrown hair in that region. This photo was taken immediately after the patient began having pain in that region and noticed the typical 'bump' which is generally located right at the base of the tailbone (coccyx).
Five days shortly thereafter, on 08/07/2011 as you can see below, the cyst began to become extremely inflamed and most obviously, very painful for the patient:

There is (currently) no, under any circumstances, exemption from criminal liability with regards to medical marijuana under Federal Law until such time as the federal government inevitably bows to the Will of The People and reschedules cannabis as the accepted medicine it already is, and has been used as, for thousands of years...
How I Became a Cannabis Patient
I worked assisting in the operating room as a surgical technician/first assistant for most of my adult life before one night after leaving the hospital, I stopped at a convenience store when suddenly I found myself being shot point-blank in the chest, an innocent victim of a violent crime.
I first applied for Social Security Disability in 2004 and have been battling the corrupt system, which was more than happy to *take* my money for years, having just recently been denied for my third and final appeal - since I am a legal medicinal cannabis patient.
The Crime Victim's Compensation Fund, yet another governmental entity operating under the guise of assisting people who truly need help -without discrimination - actually regularly discriminates with reckless abandon, as illustrated by their most recent letter to me, which included the following disturbingly biased statement:
'... catastrophic funds are not available for ongoing medical care which includes, but is not limited to, doctor appointments, prescriptions to include narcotic and non-narcotic analgesics, medical marijuana, hospitalization, surgery, physical therapy, and the purchase and cultivation of marijuana plants.'
Honestly, I'm curious as to what exactly it is that they *do* cover, for crime victims who have been completely incapacitated.
The bullet is still lodged over my left lung and causes chronic burning & pain with deep, tortuous muscle spasms, along with various other symptoms rendered by the neuropathic damage I received as the victim of violent crime. However, it also does give me the unfortunate ability to relate & sympathize to a great degree with the numerous other seriously ill patients going through many of the same or similar circumstances in their own lives, and is the reason I originally set up Colorado CHRONIX.
If not for the guidance of phenomenal people such as Keith Stroup, founder of NORML, and other influential leaders within this industry that I have been blessed to meet throughout my journey, it would not have been possible to help all of the people that I have been able to help, and to them I am forever grateful. Some of the kindest people you will ever meet, you will find working to further the cause of legally utilizing cannabis for it's numerously multifaceted applications.
Currently, due to my worsening neuralgia and associated other complications secondary to having this bullet located in my chest, I have not been able to be nearly as active in the Movement as I was when first helping patients back in 2007, but do keep Colorado CHRONIX and the website, with all of its information up & going as much as I can, as well as beginning to bring on several new Assistant Organizers to help keep things interesting with the constantly changing new information that we, as Colorado patients and/or caregivers, are being constantly deluged with.
It has always been my wish to assist both new & old patients alike as I have been so fortunate to have done, with their own explorations into the legal medicinal usage of cannabis, since without the usage of this naturally-occurring plants substances myself, I and countless others who legally find it to be an incomparable, peaceful solace in the throes of their illnesses would have literally no quality of life whatsoever.

Meet kindred book lovers in the Boulder Bookaholics Book Club. A group for people who love books, who love to discuss books and who aren't adverse to having a glass of wine, cup of coffee or bite to eat whilst doing so!
This book club has 3 strands (because we're all different!):
- fiction (meets second Tuesday of every month)
- non-fiction (meets third Tuesday of every month)
- fantasy or sci-fi (meets fourth Tuesday of every month)
We try to read books available in used bookstores and libraries, and where possible, that are available in eReader formats.
We do not allow any marketing messages at any time - this is a "commercial-free zone". We're getting together to share a love of reading and ideas about the books that we've chosen, not to hear sales messages! (We hear enough already!)
These meetups are fairly relaxed, so if you weren't able to finish the book or haven't had a chance to read it, you are still more than welcome to come to the meeting just to discuss books in general, laugh, share stories and make new friends!

Please join us for the next adventure - it could be hiking, snowshoeing, a full moon hike, rafting, a hut trip, or maybe an evening of indoor rock climbing. This group was primarily started to be a hiking and snowshoeing group for all abilities, but has expanded to include all the events just mentioned.
This group is for hikers and adventurers of all abilities, from Beginner to Advanced. We will try our best to provide a wide variety of hikes to accommodate all abilities. Although a majority of our hikes are in Rocky Mountain National Park and in the Poudre Canyon where there are hundreds of trails, we do try and schedule several hikes up Colorado's 14'ers during the summer months. We welcome outdoor adventurers from all the surrounding areas including Loveland, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont, Cheyenne, and Denver.
The Northern Colorado Adventurers activities may involve certain risks inherent with the activities that we do such as hiking, snowshoeing, rock climbing, rafting, canoeing and other adventures. You must post a clearly identifiable photo of yourself to be accepted as a member in order for us to know who you are since we almost always carpool. All membership is subject to verification over the phone or in person at one of the events.
One of the intentions of this group is to have members that are active, keep the size of the meetup events at a reasonable number based on the number of organizers leading each event, and to develop friendships and camaraderie. In order to accomplish this and make it effective, all members are required to attend at least one event every 6 months. This helps the organizers keep familiar with the needs of the members and encourages everyone to be active. All members are encouraged to suggest events to the organizers in order to generate new ideas and continue to allow us to explore new adventures!
Note: 10/16/2011; In August 2011 we opened up the membership of this group to new members. At the same time, we removed members who had not participated in any event in the last 6 months. The net effect of all this is that we are now back up to membership levels where we want to be, given the number of Organizers that we have and keeping the group size of our activities at a reasonable number. Membership to Northern Colorado Adventurers will re-open again in the Spring of 2012.

Camp Culinary is a NEW meetup group led by Chef Michael DeBoer, who has a certification from the Culinary Institue of American and teaches privately. The group is organized to bring food lovers and cooks of all abilities together to learn more about cooking methodologies. The meetup group will have a number of getogethers for free cooking demos and discussion, as well as twice-monthly cooking parties.
Chef Michael is a Boulder native who did a classical apprenticeship at the Flagstaff House as well as receiving his CIA training. He also leads team-building cooking workshops.

What we have in common is a deep love for our children and desire to give them the best life possible. Our kids find comfort in having friends in similar situations and going as a group to places that are often filled with "nuclear" families. Our parents enjoy having companions who understand how thin we are stretched and who give us room to gab, grieve, and grow.

The majority of our players are local and play at Stonebridge Games located in Longmont. We sing many styles... African, folk, pop, jazz, broadway, gospel, barbershop, renaissance, blues, rock, originals, etc.
Everybody is welcome- all skill levels, no experience necessary.
The choir will meet for 6 week sessions and finish with a party (we invite friends and sing, party, celebrate and make general ecstatic merriment).
We have lots of folks who commit week after week. How fantastically fun it is to have a big group sing together! I prepare tracks you can download or stream so that you can listen and learn parts before you come. (CHECK THE "Files" LINK)
I'll lead us through the process of learning about 5 or 6 songs together, or whatever we can do as a group, and then we'll put on a great party!

SPRE is a non-profit organization that brings speakers to town for the benefit of the general public to increase spiritual, health and event awareness specific to the times in which we are living. Our vision is "The evolution of unity consciousness and the opening of minds, hearts and souls to expanded ideas, paradigms and understandings." It is our mission to present research and education about consciousness and psycho-spiritual perspectives so that we may: remember who we are, recover our lost wisdom and liberate our full capacity.
Our programs are usually offered to the public for a free will donation once a month. Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. We go at about a pace of 12-14 mph on the flats, but stop frequently, so the overall pace with stops is about 8 mph over about a 3 hour ride.
Haven't finished that screenplay? Got a paper due Monday? That book idea still sitting on a shelf somewhere calling to you in your sleep? Then this is a group for you. The Sit Down, Shut Up, and Write Boulder Meetup is just what it sounds like -- A venue to start, continue or finish your written work. Think of it as a scene to write your scene, a medium for your medium, or just a chance to get your ink on.
The Format:
The "Sit Down" part: The first thirty minutes is reserved for introductions, purchasing food and drink, sharing ideas, trying out your latest yoga pose, or whatever else it takes to get you into the zone.
The "Shut and Write" part: We start PROMPTLY after the first thirty minutes and write for one hour.
After the hour has concluded you can continue writing, leave, talk or do whatever makes you happy. Please don't disturb or talk to those who are still bent over their laptops working. Likewise, please don't give others the stink-eye if they are talking amongst themselves.
The Rules:
RSVP "Yes" if you are coming. If your plans change, change your RSVP to "No." "Yes" doesn't mean "Maybe." If you are unsure, please wait until you are sure before you RSVP "Yes."
Chronic no-show writers will be removed from the group.
"No-show" means 1) you RSVP "Yes" and don't show up or 2) you change your RSVP to "No" less than one hour before start time.
For example, if the Meetup is from 6:30 to 8:00, you must change your RSVP to "No" before 5:30 or you will be marked as a no-show.
Three strikes in a six-month period and you will be dropped from the group.
If you are late, and we have already begun writing, just sit down, shut up, and start! There is no need to apologize or explain. Your attendance will be noted after the writing hour has concluded.
We won't go so far as to gag you and chain you to your laptop, but during the writing hour, we ban non-writing conversation and minimize even writing-related exchanged.
Reading and surfing the web is also a no-no unless it's just for quick reference checks. Any lengthy researching should come AFTER the hour is up.
This is NOT critique group. If you want to swap manuscripts with someone and garner some feedback, great! But please make those arrangements BEFORE or AFTER the writing hour. Remember, this may be the only hour you (and everyone else) get to write all week.
Please do not bring children or pets. Best to leave Junior and Fido at home so everyone can work relatively distraction-free

My name is Ken Stone. In the past, I was a Type-A driven personality mortgage lender focused exclusively on the material world. Following an in-residence meditation retreat I was made aware that I have been given a gift much larger than myself. I didnt ask for it, didnt intend it. It just happened, or maybe it was always there and I awoke to its presence. Since that moment Ive been going through a process of waking up, my attention moving more and more to the spiritual world.
It turns out I have been blessed with quite a wonderful gift. I connect to the frequency of the Divine and tune the people Im fortunate to work with to that frequency. The tuning takes three basic steps: First the soul is tuned. Second, the energy body - including the chakras. Last, the physical body is tuned. When all three are completely in tune, amazing things can start to happen many times spontaneously sometimes including the body healing itself in ways that defy logic or rational understanding. Most importantly, the feeling of connectedness returns. And as a result, we return to our native state, in complete sync with the Divine, in a state of complete peace.
I work with clients in individual session in person and via remote connection, as well as with groups. Ive started a group healing experience in Fort Collins, and I'm also exploring a tele-group for people who can't make the Fort Collins group. This is a kayaking and canoeing group for women of Northern Colorado who are looking for others to go with on flatwater and calm river excursions. The Fort Collins Flatwater Frogs is geared to the beginning and intermediate paddlers. It is for women who want to enjoy things like, spontaneous swims from the banks, sharing of chocolate, or Noosa yogurt at lunchtime, silently floating in the trees amidst the songs of various birds, and sharing the joy of seeing new places with other sisters of the flat seas...Colorado lakes, reservoirs and calm rivers. This group includes paddles from 2 hours to several hours long. Paddles can be free of charge or up to $14, depending on the location. We try to mix up the locations and days so all can participate. Since we began in 2010, we have hosted nearly 60 paddles and planned several more non-paddling events. We hope that the Frogs serves as a place for individuals to meet others with whom they can paddle whenever they'd like, and as an educational resource for tips about the sport and equipment.
It is best if members have their own boat and women are welcome to ask questions of members about equipment when they are considering purchasing their first kayak or canoe. The goals of this Meet up are to have fun, make new friends, and celebrate nature on the water. We are open to any ideas members have to make this the best and most unFROGettable group around.

Boulder Sport & Social Club (BSSC) offers adults a fun outlet through co-ed recreational sport leagues, tournaments, and social events. These leagues and events are a great way to get exercise, meet friends, expand your social circle, or learn a new sport. All games are co-ed and self officiated. The age of our members is 21 and above.

For spiritual seekers of all backgrounds. I offer monthly groups exploring Celtic worldviews, spiritual traditions, ancestral connections, and mythic imagery. A core group is forming and we welcome new members and presenters. Celtic spirituality bridges ancient traditions of the British Isles and old Europe, early Celtic Christianity, revivals of written and visionary knowledge, and a living flow of mystical awareness and love of nature. All classes include information and time for questions. Each session includes a participatory or experiential activity such as a shamanic journey or simple ritual, and ends with a blessing circle.

We are forming this group to bring together those caregivers in Colorado that already grow Cannabis ORGANICALLY and to be a resource for those that want to learn to grow organically. I just moved back to Colorado after being gone/transferring across the country back and forth with work for 14 years. I was recently part of a Meet-Up group called the Grape Escape in another city that was for all people-mostly over 40. We had such a good time trying different places and tasting different wines with some guidance from a wine guru/restaurant owner/etc. Sometimes we would do dinner; sometimes just a tasting once or twice/month. The purpose of this group would be to get together; learn about different wines from around the World. There are alot of us either returning or moving to Colorado for the first time. People who should join: those that enjoy company with men and women over 40 (married or not) and trying/learning about wines. We can meet at different places between Loveland, Windsor, Ft. Collins, etc. Time suggested=5:30 or 6p until 8p or?
Our goals are simple, we want to develop friendships, share ideas and stories, and provide riding pals for one another. We strive to create an environment where you can meet other local horse owners and riders, gather to talk about breeds and horse-related sports, or saddle up and take a trail ride! We are a casual group of horse lovers, and although most of our organized events are trail rides, sometimes we attend other horse-related activities together (for example, National Western Stock Show or Horse Expo) or have a coffee meeting when the weather is too bad to ride. We are not an officially organized riding group, which means we do not carry group insurance or take responsibility for anyone's safety.
Since most of our events are trail rides, a pre-requisite for membership is horse ownership. If you are not currently a horse owner, this may not be the group for you. There are a variety of organizations in Northern Colorado that provide meetings and training opportunties for all horse lovers or those interested in learning more about horse ownership.
Because this is an informal, "strictly for pleasure" group, we ask that those of you who provide professional services of any sort not use our group and it's contact list for soliciting business.

There are workshops that are designed for all levels of photographers from those that just got their first point and shoot to very experienced shooters using the latest pro gear. We will indicate in the title of the workshop whether it is a beginner, intermediate or advanced workshop. All skill levels are welcome to all workshops, though, so come to a beginner workshop to brush up on fundamentals or join a more advanced workshop to get a taste of what you can do with your camera when you are ready.
